1、 每一种等级的各种形式护栏均应根据应用路段,按照评价等级相应的车辆总质量,选择小型客车、大型车辆两种车型进行实车碰撞试验。小型客车主要进行车内乘员头部性能指标、胸部性能指标、腿部性能指标、车体三方向加速度、车辆运行轨迹等项目的测试;大型车主要进行护栏的防撞能力、比较大动态变形量和车辆运行轨迹等项目的测试。

2 、车辆与护栏发生碰撞时应能保证车内乘员的生命安全,不受到严重伤害。

3 、护栏应能够有效地阻挡车辆并对车辆进行导向,禁止车辆任何形式的穿越、翻越、骑跨、下穿护栏。

4、 护栏应有良好的导向性能,车辆碰撞后的驶出角度应小于碰撞角度的60%.

5 、碰撞后试验车辆应保持正常行驶姿态,不发生横转、掉头等现象。

6 、在碰撞过程中,脱离组件、碰撞碎片(护栏的碎片)、或其他护栏上的碰撞物不能侵人驾驶室内及阻挡驾驶员的视线。

7 、护栏比较大动态变形量。  

刚性护栏比较大动态变形量小于或等于L OCM ;  

无论是哪一种形式的护栏,如果用于桥梁护栏,其护栏比较大动态变形量应小于或等于50CM;

半刚性三波梁护栏比较大动态变形量小于或等于75CM;

半刚性双波梁护栏比较大动态变形量小于或等于100CM ;  

柔性护栏可根据其安装位置参照半刚性护栏比较大动态变形量的指标。

8、以上评价要素的每一条款应满足标准要求,其中任何一条不符合本标准的规定,均应视为该种护栏不符合要求,不宜在需要设置该等级护栏的路段上使用。
